TRANSFORMATION TO A PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PMO)
Q Base Office Management announces a transformation of its operations management. As of January 1999, the business has formally migrated from a business management office (BMO) concentrated on business services, to a project management office (PMO) which is dedicated to practices and principles of project portfolio management (PPM).
The PMO will supervise and drive business operations from an activity-based framework, which is considered to afford greater managerial leverage over internal economies and allocative efficiency of resource deployment. The PMO is charged with the active pursuit of key performance indicators (KPI) through judicious application of quality management (QM) and project management (PM) methodologies.
