CPG TO MEET WITH STEVE PARISH PUBLISHING

CPG coordinators are in consultation with Steve Parish Publishing to develop customised educational resources for the LearningWorks (LWP) Project.

CPG Executive Officer Judith Lee, will travel to Brisbane today to meet with the Marketing Team at Steve Parish Publishing about compilation of educational materials for LearningWorks (LWP) students.

Steve Parish, who specialises in printing photographic books on nature for adults and children represents an ideal selection for the LearningWorks (LWP) Project.

Inherent affinities of a publishing partnership will help to cultivate enthusiasm for mature-age learners, add depth and complexity to subject areas, and will also consolidate global learning themes of diversity and inclusion.

Powder Bomber

NOXIOUS ATTACK ON BUSINESS PREMISES An unknown terrorist detonated a volatile powder bomb within the Q Base Office Management premises on Thursday evening.  The assailant presumably entered via the rear of the building and launched a plastic vessel containing a volatile cocktail of ‘white’ powder into the courtyard of Q Base Office Management.  The assailant’s powder bomb seems to have misfired as it exploded against the brick wall instead of glass containing wall adjacent. The powder bomb exploded on impact and emitted a volatile burst of foul-smelling odors. A CPG worker who was in the building at the time of the attack said that it was “terrifyingly sudden” and then belched a “foul smell of rotten eggs and rotten milk.”  Immediately, the assailant (who was not properly sighted nor identified) could be heard scurrying away from the scene.
